25 Weeks (on Monday)

It's been 3 weeks since my last post and a lot has happened!!!

Here I am at 23 weeks.  Looking cute as always!!

Here I am at 24 weeks.

I went to the doctor on Tuesday the 18th.  My appointment was at 10:45 but my doctor told me to come in 30 minutes early and go have my glucose test done.  So I got there at 10:15 waited forever finally got called back to drink THE DRINK.  It wasn't that bad.  Everyone had me freaking out about it and it kind of tasted like lemon lime kool aid.  (Today I found out there is something else that I will have to drink.  I'm wondering if thats THE DRINK???)  Anyways, I had to drink the stuff go to my doctors appointment and come back an hour later.  I sat in the waiting room for a full hour went and had my blood drawn came back to the waiting room sat for another 30 minutes and FINALLY got to go see Dr. Holland.  I was miserable by the time I got out of there.  We did get to have another ultrasound done:

You may not be able to tell what they are but some are of her face and a couple are her privates.  I had them double check to be 100% sure she is still a girl.

A coworker of mine just had a baby last week and 4 or 5 weeks prior to that they found out that their baby wasn't a boy like they thought they were having.  So I didn't want any surprises!!

Here is what happened to my arm when I had my glucose test done.  It looked a lot worse by the end of the day.

My next appointment is June 10th.  We won't be having an ultrasound done that time but the time after that we will.  So I can't wait to see how big she will be then. 

Now that the weather is better I have been ADDICTED to garage saleing!!  I can't get enough of it.  Most of these clothes are from garage sales. 

There are even more clothes now.  This was as of May 9th.  I have been to 3 days of garage sales since then!!  I can't stop buying her stuff!!  Today I went and spent $7.  I got some monitors (just in case I don't get that as a shower present), 3 outfits, and a diaper bag.  My MIL has made a nursery at her house and she got everything at garage sales.  She got a crib, a headboard for a bed, and the bedding as seen below. 

Hopefully nobody in the family has a boy because that poor child will be sleeping in a purple room and pink bedding. 

I have my nursery all done but I'm waiting on my mom and Matt's mom to come look at it before I post pictures on the internet.  (if I do then they won't come out to my house) :)  (Renee, you better come before you leave for FL.  I don't know if I can wait that long.)

22 Weeks

Time flys when you're having fun!!  From the day I found out I was pregnant in December I thought I was never gonna start showing.  WOAH!!  It happened overnight!  I woke up one day and BAM I was big as a whale!!  haha not really but I sure feel like it some days.  Before, I didn't really care about dressing up and looking cute.  Most days I wore my Century 21 t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes and carried on.  Now, I am in the mood to look cute at all times (not that I didn't in my t-shirts).  Maybe its because of this cute new wardrobe I got.  IDK, but everyday I wake up and I am so excited to get dressed because I'm gonna look so cute!!  OMG I just figured it out...everyone keeps telling me how cute I am...BIG MISTAKE...don't you people know it makes my head HUGE!! 

I would have posted last week about my doctors appointment but nothing happened.  My post would have been like 2 sentences.  I went, I peed (how do you spell pee'ed??), I blood pressured, I visited the doc for point five seconds, and left.  (See 2 sentences)

On Saturday my mom and I went garage saling.  We had a blast.  Ok maybe I did.  Don't think she enjoyed it as much as me.  I got 11 long necklaces for $1.00 a piece!!!  Ok these bad boys are like $10 at some places.  I GOT A DEAL!! 

I also got a boppy.  It's this really sweet pillow to hold the baby up while breast feeding or if you are lazy like me and need some arm assistance.  See boppy below.  This is the exact cover thats on mine.  Anyways, these things are outrageously expensive.  The pillow is $30 and then you have to have a cute little cover which ranges from $10 - $50.  Well I got my little beauty (cover and all) for $15!!!

Also, on Saturday we got our crib!!!!!  I was soooo excited!!  I got it at Target ON SALE!!  I have been looking and looking all over the place for the perfect one and found the one I wanted right here in my own city.  I couldn't wait for Matt to get home so he could put it together.

This isn't very princess like.  What the heck is a willow?  I don't get it.  I WILL NOT CHANGE THE NAME THOUGH!!  Who really pays attention to that kind of stuff anyways?

Here is how I want Shelby's room to look.
 

I found this website that told me the exact paint colors that were used.  They are from Home Depot.  The lighter color is Biloxi and the darker color is Gobi Desert.  (basically, cream and tan)  We have put the samples up on the wall and I ab-so-lute-ly love it!!  I can't wait to get it all painted.  Which will hopefully be next week.  I'm going to trust my husband to paint a tree similar to the one in the picture.  Am I making a mistake? 


I found the bedding that I like at Babies R Us for cheap cheap cheap.  But I'm not sure if I want to buy it or make some myself.  See bedding here. 

This is the chair I like.  It is rather expensive so I don't know what my chances of getting it are.  I can't believe the prices on these stupid things.  If anyone has one for sale let me know!!  I prefer chocolate brown or maybe even a light green.

Hobby Lobby has these letters that are massive and I think they will look gorgeous above her bed. 

Of course she will have a chandelier!!  I found one at Home Depot that I like but I'm gonna keep on looking.  I know I will find the PERFECT one.  I want one more whimsical.  Maybe with leaves on it not so many crystals.  And in antique white instead of WHITE.   

If anyone sees a good deal on a white bird cage I'm in the market for one.  I want a metal one thats not to big.  Maybe can fit on a shelf.

Anyways, here is my little angels room.  Feel free to give me any ideas!!  I love to hear what other people have to offer!!

Time for Change

I will be going to Florida in 65 days (who's counting).  I thought my blog needed a little summer update.  I am having trouble finding swimsuits for my big belly.  What do you think about this one?

Apparently, this is about as cute as I'm gonna find without spending bookoos of money.  I will only be wearing it for one summer so I don't see the need in spending $75 on a swimsuit that hopefully I won't be wearing again. 

Matt's cousin, Jill, gave me all of her maternity clothes to borrow.  I swear I have AT LEAST 10 pairs of jeans to wear now.  That doesn't include the dress pants, shorts, kahki's, and sweat pants.  I am so so so thankful for her!!  There are quite a few shirts to wear to.  I had to clean out my closet just to fit in this new stuff.  I didn't even have 10 pair of jeans to wear before I was pregnant.  So I'm really gonna be spoiled.

Yesterday was the big day!!  Before I jump to conclusions let me give you the full days story.

It all began with a very "uncomfortable" ride to the hospital.  Some words were exchanged between Matt and I to the point where I didn't even care to find out what we were having anymore.  So I'm walking into the hospital and I call my sweet sweet mother to see where she is.  This is how the conversation goes:

Morgan: Hey where are you?
Mom: I'm sitting on the couch...why?
Morgan: Ummm my appointment is in 5 minutes.
Mom: I thought it was tomorrow.
Morgan: No...its today...I told you that!!
Mom: well let me get dressed
Morgan: no, don't worry about it...Renee will be here!
Mom: ok, I'm sorry Morgan

So this was just the topping on the cake!!  I was livid!!  So I walked in to the appointment and THERE SITS MY MOTHER!!  Uggghhhh  She better be glad she was sitting there!!  Thats all I gotta say!

So we wait a few minutes (not long at all actually considering some people think my doctor has long waits) and they call me and Matt back to do the awful blood tests, weigh in, blood pressure, and pee in a cup.  Of course, I overfilled it like I do every single time!!  I just don't ever know how close I'm getting to the top of the cup.  Then we go to a room and they bring back my wolfpack  family.  Mom, Renee (MIL), Lauren (BFF), and Braeden.  After a few minutes we go to the back room to have the ultrasound done.  They have this room all decorated up real nice with couches and chairs.  There was even a tv on the wall for me to see what the lady was doing so I didn't break my neck trying to look at the monitor.  I thought that was pretty cool.  She looked around and looked around made sure we had all the arms and legs (yes we do) and then FINALLY she says....."100%........GIRL"  I almost jumped off the bed with excitement!!  And I look over at Braeden and he looks back at me and his lips gets to quivering.  Then came the tears!!!  Who would of thought he would react like that!!!!  It broke my heart!!!!!!!!  He kept telling everyone (and I mean everyone) that if the baby was a girl Corkey (our dog) was going to be his brother.  Needless to say, he DOES NOT want a sister. 

After the ultrasound my mom and I went and talked with the doc and everything is looking good for me.  Besides these stupid headaches that I get EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!!  I am allowed to take ib profen twice a week.  Hopefully that will help. 

Renee took Braeden to Wal-Mart to get a Yoda (star wars creature he wants) then to McDonald's to get a milkshake.  While they were at Wal-Mart she asked him if they could go get little sister a present and he said "No, and when she is born I'm going to my room and I'm shutting the door".  So apparently the Yoda didn't make him like his sister but it got him to stop crying!!  After walmart and mcdonalds we went to the park with Lauren and Chance and their kids.  The kids played for 2 hours.  Braeden was worn out by the end of the day yesterday!!  And so were his parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, and here are the ultrasound pictures.  I need to get a belly bump pic added...maybe this afternoon.

And one more thing, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND!!!!

Just because I'm bored and want to post something!!

Some people make these lists of things they like, things they don't like, things they do, things they don't do...So I figured I would make me a list. 

Here goes......

1.  (Since strawberry cupcakes are on the mind)  My BFF Lauren makes the BEST strawberry cupcakes.  I don't think they are made any special way but because of her cupcakes I crave strawberries.
2.  I just finished off a box of Trefoil girl scout cookies.  Let's just say I wish I had another box.  I WILL NOT tell you how many cookies I just ate!!
3.  I didn't mean for this list to be all about food but while I'm at it...I LOVE me some US Pizza salads!!  I think I could eat one for every meal!!
4.  I can no longer fit into my jeans!!!  I have 1 pair (maybe 2) that I can wear...at the moment.  [I am wearing sweat pants today how professional is that]
5.  I really really really want to bedazzle my Realtor name tag.  (kind of like this but cooler) But, there is only one problem.  I just bought the thing 2 weeks ago and I have already lost it!!!  I have a feeling that it's strong magnetic force has pulled it to something that I cannot see.  Therefore, I shall be nameless and bedazzle-less.
6.  I have 11 days until I find out the gender of my AVATAR (inside joke).  I absolutely cannot wait another day to find out.  I want to buy stuff so stinkin' bad right now and I'm going insane!!  I picked out the car seat and stroller and pack and play and bedding...all for a girl of course...but I think it I can get it all in boy colors if that is what God has chosen for me to birth.
7.  Diet Coke does not taste as good to me as it did 3 months ago.  What can I drink in place?  (must contain caffeine)
8.  My BFF that is mentioned in #1 just got an embroidery machine.  She just doesn't know what she has done to herself.  I might have to take out stock in TuTu Cute!!
9.  There is an app on my iPhone that I couldn't live without!!  It's from a well known real estate website called realtor.com and I don't think I could do my job without it.  I can pull up listings on my phone while walking around someones house during a showing.  You just don't know how helpful that is!!
10.  I got new living room furniture yesterday and I think I'm in love!!  I have the most wonderful in-laws in the world. 
11.  I got a contract signed today.  So please keep your fingers crossed all weekend long that it gets accepted on Monday.
12.  I'm starting to look obsessed with Lauren but how you could you not be when she has the cutest kid in the world!!  If she would just let me adopt him I promise I would not have anymore kids!!

13.  I have this white shirt from Wal-Mart that I absolutely L-O-V-E!!  I wear it at least twice a week and I feel so stinking cute when I wear it.
14.  My mother has had pneumonia (spelling) for the past MONTH and I miss her so much.  I haven't seen her in such a long time and that just isn't right!!  Must have mom time soon!!!  Please get better!!!

All Knocked Up and No Where To Go : Part Tres **EDITED**

So its week 13 for me and I'm in my 2nd Trimester now.  WOO HOO!!  I haven't had ONE day of morning sickness this whole 13 weeks.  I can't believe it!!  It makes me worry if everything is alright down there or not.  Well I went to my 2nd doctor visit yesterday and we got to hear the heartbeat.  It was so stinkin cool!!!  I heard this "bumb bump..bump bump..bump bump".  Thinking I was going to hear this "bump bump...........bump bump..........bump bump"  Kinda freaked me out a little, but the doc said it was supposed to be that fast.  "Her" heart rate was 151.  It was the sweetest little sound.  Soooo reassuring!!!

I go back to the doctor on the March 23rd.  Thats when Dr. Holland is going to confirm that its a girl!! :)  YAY!!!

This is my favorite.  Some of these pictures are boy rooms but they will be modified.  My nursery is set up just like this.  The closet is in this exact location and its a double door closet so I just love love love this idea.

This room is cute to.  I like the brown striped wall.  But once again it will be modified for little Shelby.

 

I saw on someones blog how to make these scallops.  All they did is trace one half of a dinner plate on the wall then paint it in.  So cute!!

Now, for my fairytale nursery.  I saw this online and there is no way that I would put my husband through this much work but this is the cutest baby room I have ever seen in my entire life!!  I would probably do without the tree and the squirrel but I just love everything else about this!!
